Krishaa Veeras is a high school student and the founder of TechRoots, a nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gap in artificial intelligence education for rural and underserved communities. She started TechRoots with the vision of making emerging technologies more accessible, inclusive, and understandable for everyone—regardless of geography or background..
Krishaa believes that true innovation begins with equity. Through TechRoots, she is focused on creating scalable educational tools—from multilingual apps to hands-on learning kits—that empower individuals to engage with AI in a meaningful way. Her mission is rooted in the belief that the future of tech should be shaped by everyone, not just a few.
